Mouayed Makhlouf is a seasoned international banker with over 25 years of experience, specializing in leading and managing large investment and advisory operations across various sectors and geographies. His career highlights include serving as the Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group, where he demonstrated leadership in fostering economic growth through private sector development, financial inclusion, and sustainable energy initiatives in the region. In his role as a Regional Director, Mouayed led the economic transformation of many countries in the region with focus on greater private sector participation.

After his tenor at the IFC, Mouayed joined Bank Audi Group as General Manager and a member of the Group’s Executive Committee in charge of the Group International Business.  Mouayed is a Member of the Board of OdeaBank, Bank Audi subsidiary in Turkey. He is also a member Governance, Risk and Audit Committee where he played a key part in steering the bank towards achieving its strategic goals, leveraging his extensive experience and expertise in finance and governance.

Mouayed holds a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor in Business Administration from The George Washington University. His professional path is distinguished by strategic leadership, and a profound dedication to fostering private sector lead economic growth in an environmentally sustainability fashion. Mouayed is Fluent in both Arabic and English.
