Ghassan Sayah is a seasoned Lebanese leader with extensive experience in public health, education, and community development. He has been serving as the Chairman of the Board of YMCA Lebanon since 2010, after holding the position of Chief Executive Officer from 1975 to 2010. Additionally, Ghassan has been a Senior Advisor to the Lebanese Minister of Environment since June 2011 and has played significant roles in various national and international organizations, including the World Alliance of YMCAs in Geneva and the Lebanese NGO Forum. He has also been an advisor for the Youth & Sport and Public Health committees in the Lebanese Parliament from 2010 to 2014. A founding member of the Lebanese Relief Association and the Forum for Parliamentary Dialogue, Ghassan has initiated numerous impactful social programs across Lebanon, focusing on health education, vocational training, and medical assistance, profoundly influencing community development and public health policy.
